Janine Kelly

Bullying at school left Janine Kelly very shy and reserved and she didn’t feel confident about moving on to college.

She enjoyed using computers and took a course with one to one tutoring at the Learning Shop at Ayr College to help build her confidence.

She moved on to the college’s flexible learning unit to develop her skills and plans to take an national certificate (NC) course in computing and multimedia at mainstream college. 

Janine now helps other learners and is a volunteer worker at an animal charity.
