Flexible learning
This is a like a mix of classroom-based and distance learning.
Flexible learning is based at a college or learning centre. You can use their facilities and get a lot of support from their staff. But instead of attending regular classes, you go when it suits you. Sometimes you’ll need to make an appointment. Sometimes you can just drop in.
Learning centres
There are already more than 480 learndirect scotland branded learning centres throughout Scotland.
So what’s a learning centre?
Learning centres are places where you can meet people, use computers, attend classes, or take courses. Or simply find a quiet place to concentrate on your studies. And the learning centre staff are there to help you.
