“I love to play music. Now I’ve learned to work with it too”

Gavin Laurie, from Irvine, played bass guitar in a local band. He decided it made good sense to have a “real” job as well as trying to make it as a musician. So he completed a sound and animation course at James Watt College in Greenock.

This helped him get a job in a local recording studio where he has worked with names like Eddi Reader and Mogwai.
